This will look better when it’s done. Maybe. It’s a WIP, so I’ve pixelated any identifying marks to protect the innocent and tip-top secrets in the hush-hush world of walkie talkies.

Walkie talkies are fun toys, but pro communication gear is quite a conservative sector to design e-comm for. Security customers don’t do snaz. Here it is though, because it’s the only fully fleshed digital shop I have designed. Boom.

This is round 1 of design after one round of wireframes. I did both, in Sketch and Balsamiq respectively. The aesthetic was based on the company’s existing website, to which they wanted a shop added.

After R1 — which was approved — dev was put on hold by the client due to Covid-19, which impacted the agency’s coffers, which impacted my employment there. Boo. (He was the only employee at the time.) Could be worse, eh?
