Snowboarder Magazine ran snowboarding contests about which they were very enthusiastic. It got them out of the office and let them openly judge people.
A couple of these where designed with ideas and input from the magazine’s chiefs, but most where my own invention. Each has its own reasons — I’ll leave you to work those out. Most aren’t that hard to fathom.
I particularly like the Summer Games logo’s Olympic feel. The blue represents the frigid mountain, the orange the glorious dawn.
Miss Superpark, meanwhile, is badass with a face tattoo.
ANTPM, America’s Next Top Pro Model — a pro model snowboard shootout, is a bit cheesy, but cheese goes down well in these circles. You have to play to your audience.
