When the death of print (print’s not dead) was on the horizon, Snowboarder mag decided to join ’em with a web video series.
This is the intro to it. Sick.
I took a photo sequence shot at one of the mag’s events, illustrated the rider by hand and integrated it with graphics.
With each issue needing a new title, I made space for that, easily edited in Premiere or whatever.
The clouds were inspired by the Dreamworks studio intro. The clouds part and behold, a massive handplant. Not a kid fishing on the moon, but the handplant is just as improbable a feat to you and I.
