Basic tech startup identity

The trouble with visionaries is that they tend to have a vision for everything, whether they’re experts in those things or not.

The approved product here was influenced by another (still) logo liked by the client but that doesn’t mean I didn’t put forward some alternatives that I thought were more stand-out, cutting-edgier, and just as meaningful.

Others on their side preferred another, radder, option — shown last, in animated form — but last time I looked, most companies aren’t democracies. Hey ho.

Like a lot of startups, this one’s launch has been put on the shelf for a sunnier day. Ergo, you totally haven’t seen this. (They gave permission to publish on the proviso it stay under the radar and not mention the sector — they’re nice like that. Aren’t nice people nice?)

Anyhoo, their dream/plan is to make revolutionary, cube-shaped, modular [redacted] for [ssshhhh]. As per usual for brand new startups, they were after a logo pack, identity basics, some blurbs and a launch narrative to get them started.

I wrote and designed all of it, including the animation (though a rousing narrative by me was overwritten by a Lego analogy courtesy of the visionary).

This was the narrative section. I used sciency terms where they made sense.
