New name and ID for local agency

Long story not at all, Exeter’s Astley Media wanted a new name and everything.

They like their tech clients, so that informed my thinking when noodling the name. (So tricky, finding a name that hits the mark and isn’t owned on too many channels, isn’t it?)

Being “players” in the somewhat more conservative sector of south west UK IT companies, district councils and science parks, I failed to sneak more punk rock and brand-neue brand executions past the more sensible approvers.

Of note, I did a fun little animation to get the 2022 launch crowd hyped, and in 2024, cute animated icons to rep services.

There’s more to the brand, but it’s all a bit WIP, as is the future direction of the agency, what with the turmoil around AI and some total loonies rocking the global economy on a daily basis. Crying face, angry face, anxiety-ridden face emojis. We’ll be fine. Breathe.
